About Me
I am a multi media artist, illustrator and printmaker living in Westbury, Wiltshire, UK with professional links to Bristol UK.
I studied at Hereford College of Arts, UK, obtaining a Foundation Diploma (Merit) and a BA Hons First Class in Illustration.
My favourite themes include folklore, architecture, plants/gardens, and cats. However I have decided that my way forward in my illustration practice will be to concentrate my practice in the area of food/beverage and travelogue illustration.
In my spare time I can be found out and about with Bristol and Bath Urban Sketchers and visiting places of interest, galleries and museums.
What I Do!
Digital Artwork
Here I explore my interests mainly in psychedelia, architecture and the kind of subjects that appeal to contemporary interior design.
Traditional Artwork
Traditional watercolour and pen work were my first port of call when taking up art and illustration as an adult. Here my subjects tend to be of a more traditional nature featuring interiors, homes, gardens, travel and coastal scenes.
Machine Embroidery Collage
I find freehand machine embroidery very addictive. most of the work I have done in this medium so far refelects my interest in brutalist architecture and I use fabrics mostly obtained from recycled sources.
Zines + Booklets
I love creating zines and small press booklets on subjects including folklore and architecture and table at/visit as many zine and small press fairs as I can get to in the south and midlands of the UK.
Stickers, Pin Badges & Ephemera
Making stickers, pins, patches etc. is a fun way to engage a younger demographic utalising work I have already created.
